4 out of 5 stars Really enjoy Blue Bloods Series   November 17, 2009
Jennifer Dicou (Clinton, UT United States)
I'm a fan of paranormal romance novels and Blue Bloods is up there with some of my favorites: The Immortals Series, The Mortals Instruments Series, The Dark Guardians Series, etc. There are so many great reviews on this book in the list, you'll want to read some of them, since I am not a great review writer.

4 out of 5 stars Left me wanting more!   November 11, 2009
Jessica Kennedy (Waynesboro, PA United States)
I received this from Disney-Hyperion for review.

This is book 4 of the Blue Bloods series by Melissa De La Cruz
Pros

* I like Mimi in this one. She does a cool thing by helping Kingsley track down the Silver Bloods. She kinda rocked in that position. Until the end of the book.
* Schuyler's love triangle gets messy but resolved.
* Oliver. Oh, how I <3 Oliver. He could be my familiar any day.
* Silver Bloods. Yup, they are tricky things. They made this book interesting.
* Passion. There are some episodes of overbearing hormones. Had my toes curling. Hmmm, Jack. ;)
* Intense scenes. There were a few OMG! moments. Great action scenes.

Cons

* The book ended with a new found hatred for Mimi. I could strangle her. I only hope she decides otherwise.
* Death. More death! Melissa is cruel to her readers!

Overall

This addition was a bit slower for me. I enjoyed it but it seemed kinda drawn out or something. The ending was terrible, meaning I must read the next book because it has to resolve its self as a happy ending. Won't it? :(

5 out of 5 stars I loved it   November 8, 2009
Mary E. Guida (Chico, Ca)
It only took me one day to read, but it was worth it. I love the series, and if you do, you need to read this book.

4 out of 5 stars Great series for vampire lovers   November 7, 2009
K. Seamon (Valley Stream, New York United States)
This is the fourth book in the series and have enjoyed all four. The story is unique and the characters are nicely developed. Although I enjoyed seeing where the story would go in this book...it jumped around alot leaving you wanting more. Guess that's why I'll be buying the fifth one! Love the characters, felt the heartache and would definitely recommend to vampire lovers everywhere.

I loved this book, I think is Melissa's best work so far in the blue bloods series.
