Call to Register! Say What!!!! December 3, 2008
I just finished installing QuickBooks 2009. I have all kinds of software installed on my computer, some costing as little a few bucks to as much as several thousand and none of them require me to CALL A SERVICE CENTER to register my software! All of the information I provided OVER THE PHONE could have been done on line more accurately. It's a joke to think customers are going to be OK with this; I don't want to take my time to call Intuit to just answer their marketing questions. I really want to find a good alternative to QuickBooks; with all the complaints I read about this program and now this, I'm really motivated to start a search for a better accounting software.

Non Existant Seller/Merchant December 2, 2008
This Seller/Merchant was a new launch, set up to TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. BEWARE of this Seller/Merchant and other NEW LAUNCHES, on this and other AUCTION SITES. Because Amazon.com gives the Seller/Merchant more than 3 weeks to respond to a sale, instead of scaling that down to 3 days like other sites command, this gives the Seller/Merchant ample time to collect the funds, access your account, take possession of your money, then close all accounts (transfering the funds to another Account/Bank) making collection efforts virtually impossible. In the end, Amazon.com has to refund the moneys, driving all transaction cost up for both Seller and Buyer. Meantime your money is tied up for more than 5 weeks. This practice is especially prevailant during the Holidays. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

An old favorite for the new year December 2, 2008
Quickbooks is the standard of the industry for small business accounting. If your chart of accounts doesn't link with your bank account, you need this version. Otherwise, check out the differences from the version you have and see if it's worth the investment.

This product has never been recieved so it is hard to give a review. I am now looking forward to getting my money returned. The people that are selling this product should be removed from Amazon.

WARNING: DOES NOT WORK WITH BANK OF AMERICA December 1, 2008
I just bought 2009, upgraded from 2006, thought it may help me save time.br /br /And guess what, It doesn't work with Bank Of America, won't download transactions from it.br /br /I mean, seriously, how can they put out a new version of QuickBooks and not make sure it works with Bank of America??br /br /How can they let you buy, download and upgrade, wiping out your old QuickBooks file, and not tell you at any point: "Note: this does not work with Bank of America"br /br /Thanks Intuit for wasting my time and my money today... and now, I have to spend more time how to go back to 2006.br /br /
