Although it took a little longer than I had hoped to receive the book, it arrived in perfect condition. It was the best buy on this textbook that I found anywhere on the net.

I ordered this book and was sent the wrong one! I tried to get in touch with the compancy about exchanging. I sent several emails on their website. They never got in touch with me by phone or email, no refund, NOTHING!!! Now I have a book I don't need and had to go spend an additional $95 on the RIGHT book! I will not order books from online for graduate school again!!!!!

3 out of 5 stars Everything great other than shipping.   September 19, 2008

I live in an area where I have to have a P.O.Box and there is no secure physical address. I had high hopes that the package would be sent through the USPS. I received a shipping confirmation the day it was supposed to arrive and had to contact buyer to find out it was shipped UPS. They can not ship to my address so I had to drive 20 miles out to pick up the package. It is frustrating not knowing which shipping option is going to be chosen and not really having a choice over it. Payed for expedited shipping only to find myself receiving the package 10 days overdue and having to drive to get it.

5 out of 5 stars Great textbook!   August 25, 2008
This textbook is well written. It catches your attention with case studies and then in a way that makes sense, teaches the concepts.

I used this text in a MSW program HBSE class. It was easy to read and a good informative source on basic human development. Each chapter has questions and intensive vocabulary which was helpful.
