Would NOT do e-book again for College Course September 4, 2010

Okay, maybe it's my professor but, you cannot find a hard copy equivalent 'page' number in your Kindle edition (PC or otherwise) and the Professor assigns particular pages for review. So I'm not sure how to find which page is equal to what?

Just a standards document August 25, 2010

This book is published by PMI and documents the standards that the PMP test is based on. Given that, it's really not exciting reading, but you pretty much have to review it to feel confident about understanding what's on the exam. However, this book doesn't make for a good study guide for the exam.

I used The PMP Exam: How to Pass on Your First Try by Andrew Crowe to prepare for the exam, and used the PMBOK Guide to ensure I had good coverage of the test topics [and passed]. As the Crowe book states, the exam asks questions not in the PMBOK and tests you on your Project Management "experience in-the-spirit-of the PMBOK", so having both books was useful.

As far as learning practical project management skills, both the PMBOK and the Crowe book are geared towards test preparation. They present shallow practical knowledge, so I recommend looking at other resources if you're looking for actual project management knowledge depth.

hi,

I have order my book on 7th July'2010, today is 9th Aug'2010 but still not recevied my PMBOK, due to this i have to posponed my examintaion, while ordering they mention will take 4 weeks to deliver, its alraedy 4 weeks, still waiting to deliver. Poor Delievery service..............
