5 out of 5 stars very useful info for ectomorphs   September 5, 2010
Miguel Angel Ramos
Being an ectomorph sucks for weightlifting in my experience. Exercises like squats, bench press and deadlifts did little to change my build and in fact they felt kind of awkward. I always wondered what the problem was and why these "mass packing" exercises failed to help me. Part of the reason was my inadequate diet, the second being what this book addresses when it covers those exercises. Namely, how morphology affects the difficulty associated with them. More importantly it has offered very useful (VISUAL) suggestions to make these great exercises work for an ectomorph like myself. Highly recommended.

It arrived fast. The books give a good explanation and detail on what muscles you are working out as you do specific ones. Great!

5 out of 5 stars Best books come from Amazon.com   August 15, 2010

I needed a specific book for my professional library. After searching local bookstores for several days with no success, I was discouraged and tired. At that moment I had a brain inspiration. Why go through all of this stress when all I needed to do was go to Amazon.com and log on? Indeed it was just that simple....for within 3 minutes I had located the book that I needed and for a economical price. After all of that all I did was wait on it's arrival. It came in about 4-5 days, safely and in the condition as represented. A successful transaction made so by Amazon's quick and simple process.

4 out of 5 stars This Book Is For The Lover of Art and The Human Body   August 10, 2010

This book appeals to two types of persons at once: the bodybuilder (male and female) and the lover of art. The anatomical precision of what goes on inside of the musculature as well as without is quite remarkable and stunning. The drawings and the artwork are remarkable.

Though the book goes into body building and strength training, it is not exhaustive, and it also doesn't cover that much on eating and diet. If you love great art and if you love exercise and fitness, then this is the book for you. I own it, and I love admiring the beautiful display of the internal anatomy. I think that this indeed is a collector's item and belongs in any serious library on body building and weight training.

I found this book very informative on learning the various muscles that may come into play while working out. Since i am a Doctor of Chiropractic this will be a helpful book to memorize the various muscle groups in the human body.
