4 out of 5 stars A good book for a great price!   August 14, 2009
Benjamin Eke
Merchandise purchase was as expedited as its advertisement. In all seriousness, the book was worth much more than the price paid for it. Thank you Amazon and sellers of used books.

4 out of 5 stars Grad student on Education Research   July 6, 2009
L. Flaherty (Albuquerque, NM USA)
This book is very expensive and not quite as good as the 8th edition. The 8th actually showed you how to do relevant statistical analyses; this one refers to SPSS and other software. The info is great and very helpful for writing research/thesis papers, but the statistical directions are insufficient.

1 out of 5 stars Educational Research: Competencies for Analysis and Applications (8th Edition) (Purchased on 06/02/2009)   July 4, 2009
Gerardo R. Aviles
This book which cost me about 40.00 dlls. I'm sorry to say that it is not worth not even half of that. The book happened to be incomplete and it's hard cover was loose from the inside text, the book itself.

4 out of 5 stars EdS student   May 9, 2009
K. Johnston (Atlanta, GA USA)
A very good textbook and source for educational research techniques. Good, engaging sample studies. Nice occasional touch of humor. Includes access to website for practicing skills and finding weaknesses.

5 out of 5 stars My book   April 20, 2009
Jess (Atlanta)
I am very pleased with my purchase. The book looked brand new. The cover was chipped a little on the side, but other than that it was in perfect condition.
