Product Description
Startling allegations. Suppressed evidence. Missing witnesses. Assassinations. Cover-ups and threats. Documented connections to even deeper intrigue. Allusions to the New World Order. American history is replete with warnings of hidden plots by the Illuminati, the Freemasons, the Zionists, the Roman Catholics, the Communists, World Bankers, the Secret Government, New Agers, and Extra-Terrestrial Invaders, to name a few. PThe truth is out there, somewhere, maybe. In this age of minimum individual privacy and maximum government secrecy, the truth sometimes seems a battered relic, more myth than reality, and more valuable for its rarity. Shedding light onto the darkest and most enduring of stories, this book is a compelling encyclopedic overview of 300 individuals, organizations, and events where official claims and standard explanations of actions and events remain clouded in mystery. PWith nearly 100 illustrations and organized in an engaging A-to-Z format, this complete dossier encompasses topical issues, historical riddles, old and enduring societies, modern-day initiates, favorite topics among conspiracy theorists, and more recent claims. PDo you want to know a secret? Its a great book sure to satisfy conspiracy enthusiasts, whatever their level of paranoia.

5 out of 5 stars Worth it!   August 5, 2008
I read Conspiracies and Secret Societies cover to cover. I found it to be fun and entertaining for the most part. However there were some examples that were frightening enough that I did further research and found them to be absolutely true. The book presents the topics in such a way that you can come to your own conclusions. There is no indication of "soap boxing" for any of the topics. There is referance information to do your own reseach on the entries. Highly recommended for those who want to know more...

5 out of 5 stars GET THIS BOOK!!! Nuf said.   February 18, 2008

This book is great. If you have even the slightest interest in conspiracy theories, get this book. You won't be able to put it down (You may also not be able to go to sleep after reading this book). This book covers some of the lesser known conspiracy theories and secret socities such as Heaven's Gate, the Mothman, and many others. It also covers many of the classic conspiracy theories, such as men in black, roswell, area 51, and of course, the new world order. One thing I like about the book is that it gets to the point. It doesn't start out with "It was a clear day in Roswell, New Mexico. The wind was gently blowing, the kids were out playing, and the grass was greener than ever." Instead, it jumps right to what happened, starting out with something like "Something crashed in Roswell New Mexico. The goverment says it was a weather balloon, but many others think it was a UFO." Also, this book is very reliable, listing ALL its sources of information. So get this book!br /br /Why are you still reading this review? Go to the top of the screen, and click the order button! Then, when it arrives, read it, then lose three days of sleep because this book WILL creep you out as well as entertain you for hours. br /br /Oh my gosh, you're still reading this review! What part of push the order button don't you udnerstand?

3 out of 5 stars Plenty "Politically Correct" Conspiracies   May 12, 2007

We read Brad Steiger's mystery books of thebr /late 1960's and early 1970's. They werebr /worthy paperbacks, not as wild, funny andbr /erratic as John Keel's works, but similar.br /br /This book is much larger and extensive thanbr /those:br /br /CASS is a "FAT 500" book of many descriptions,br /photo images and theories, that a reader canbr /use to grip and examine popular conspiracies andbr /associated personalities, perhaps to improvebr /conversations about the unusual or increasebr /adrenaline levels.br /br /We commend Steiger on inclusion ofbr /br /1. John Lennon, UFO researchers, Jonestown,br /and George Wallace MURDERS, via possible MKbr /ULTRA, Manchurian Candidate, MI[56], MIB,br /drug-affected mind control, cancer or otherbr /Kontrol techniques.br /br /2. Dr. Henry Kissinger (Master Spy, "Hank",br /Dr. Strangelove) who, along with other Occultbr /Mind Control Advisors, seem always present inbr /the New World Order Rule and Reign of Terror.br /br /3. Bankers, Bildebergers, Trilateralsbr /br /4. Interesting Individuals (NOT criminal) likebr /R. Steiner, Helen Blavatsky, Nikola Tesla andbr /Wilhelm Reich the Orgon Energy Explorer.br /br /Certain vital essential clever conspiracies andbr /societies are conveniently MISSING:br /br /1. World War Criminal financial elites who gatherbr /TRILLIONS of Dollars/Rubles/Pounds/Francs/Marksbr /from Wars throughout the centuries, so the WWC'sbr /acquire a vast mountain of Gold and Jewels withbr /which to "secure" their New World Order.br /br /2. Chernobyl, a major nuclear disaster, atbr /the brink of a New World War, between Black andbr /White Races, perhaps a detour warning;br /and the World NUCLEAR Movement with its nuclearbr /Occult practices: SuperUnNatural Forces, Evilbr /"Advanced Technology", the Mad Magic of Mad Humans.br /br /3. Khazars, who have filled so many influentialbr /positions in the US, UK and elsewhere are missing,br /perhaps to ensure that CASS would be published.br /Also the Syndicate, the ultimate of criminalbr /profitable conspiracy, is conveniently omitted,br /as is much of its lesser partner in crime,br /the Mafia (Italian-based rather than Russian-based).br /br /4. Joe McCarthy receives only a mere mention,br /even though McCarthy was perched on the rim of abr /Massive Giant $Conspiracy$ just prior to hisbr /possible murder in a US Naval hospital.br /br /5. The KAL 007 passenger jet, downed by Sovietbr /military fighter, killing major conspiracybr /activist (Dr. Larry McDonald) from the Johnbr /Birch Society, a so-called "right wing extremist"br /group, previously mentioned in Steiger's booksbr /as providing relevant material exposing Worldbr /Conspiracy, is omitted. CASS does describebr /some of the JBS and other "extremist" groups. br /br /6. Ted Owens, one of the greatest psychics andbr /forecaster Prophets of the 20th century neverbr /receives a review. Mr. Owens was a Prodigybr /equivalent to the Prophet Musa (Moses or Moshe).br /Many UFO radicals and simple UFO witnesses camebr /under severe, sometimes deadly fire, especiallybr /during the 1965-75 US/USSR/SE Asia War years.br /br /7. CIA/KGB collusion, FBI/FSB familiars, NSA/NKVDbr /Nazie Commies are not hinted at.br /br /(Telephone monitoring, harrassment, intimidation,br /surveillance, other spy spooking, as experiencedbr /by radicals and "extremists", can be quite real,br /as in my case for the past 34+ years!)br /br /8. Many Black Muslim deaths, disappearances andbr /"accidents" are not mentioned.br /br /9. Interdimensional Intelligences mind-controlbr /over People actions receive no theory.br /br /10. Council on Foreign Relations (CFR),br /Robert McNamara's "Whiz Kids" and RANDbr /"Think Tanks" are conveniently omitted, as arebr /Congressional/Judicial/Executive organised crimebr /links and networks.br /br /Basically, Conspiracies is a good reference forbr /"politically correct" or "religiously correct"br /conspiracies, if that's what you're looking for.br /br /When You realise that some always portrayed asbr /"Criminal" or "The Devil" or "The Enemy"br /are possibly Heroes and/or Scapegoats, thenbr /You are getting getting deep into the stuff ofbr /REAL Life Conspiracies and Secret Societies.br /br /To remain Sane with CASS, perhaps Realise thatbr /Each and Every Creature is really a Divine Being,br /directly related to the Super Supreme Divinebr /Being, ALLAH or God, Who Loves and Cares for ALLbr /and Each of Us, as an Eternal Divine Family Member.br /br /We give Conspiracies and Secret Societies THREEbr /out of FIVE, but hoped and expected better frombr /Mr. Steiger, as further progress in hisbr /discoveries of hidden worldly ways of Humanbr /society, over the past 50 years or more.br /br /None Dare Call It Conspiracybr /None Dare Call It Treasonbr /Iron Curtain Over Americabr /br /

That's right I'm worried about Brad and Sherry. Why? All they do is research and write darn good books. Good thing for those of us who want to read them! When I got this book I could not put it down. Be prepared to spend some time reading it. Fascinating reading. Go take a vacation guys, you deserve it.
