5 out of 5 stars A must have cookbook!   December 17, 2008
The recipes in Real Food for Healthy Kids are truly amazing, from breakfast to dessert! For a special occassion, you MUST try Nana Elizabeth's Lemon Sour Cream Cake and 14-Karat Gold Cake. br /br /This book is not only a collection of simple and delicious recipes (including a section on baby food and food sensitivites), but a resource for good, practical advice on cooking and nutrition that every parent should read and apply!

5 out of 5 stars Fun and Creative   December 16, 2008
This cookbook is so easy to use and I love the all the recipes we've tried so far and the fact that they tell you accurately how long they take to make. br /br /I loved the "What to Feed Your Kids and Why" section. I know what to feed my kids, I've been doing it since they were born and this section didn't have that annoying condescending tone to it, but gave me good ideas, reminded me of a few things and taught me a few things too.br /br /This cookbook is a keeper.

I bought this book so that I could avoid my children eating school lunches and I am very pleased with the recipes. The cornbread recipe is awesome.

5 out of 5 stars Cooking Is No Longer A Chore   November 30, 2008

Real Food For Healthy Kids is phenomenal cooking book that any kid or parent will approve of. Full of healthy, delicious, and easy-to-make recipes, I have learned a lot about cooking and have changed my opinion on it; cooking is no longer a chore for me, instead, it is a fun learning experience. This book proves that healthy meals are not hard to make, in fact, they are quite simple. The 30 minute dinners of chapter 6 have become an essential part of my busy nights when I have to cook for myself. It's nice being able to eat something homemade that is both easy and nutritious, especially when I've been studying for exams beforehand. As a busy student, this book has been a big help to me and a great learning tool. I would honestly recommend this book to anyone, whether you love cooking or hate it, you'll find recipes in here that suit your time requirements/limitations, your level of cooking expertise, and your taste buds.
