Product Description
For years, parents have asked Jim Fay and Dr Charles Fay for specific words they can use when kids leave them speechless. The book is finally here! Twenty-three chapters include parent-child dialogues and plenty of information about how to handle the most frustrating things kids say.

5 out of 5 stars Love and Logic is the only way to parent.   December 12, 2008
It is amazing the difference in my 3 year old when following the simple, I mean simple instructions on how to handle situations with your kids from the Love and Logic program. This is just one book in the series, but all of them are recommended. br /br /

5 out of 5 stars Great Parenting Resource   November 7, 2008
This and all of his other books are a great resource to help any parent with their children. He keeps it simple and to the point.

3 out of 5 stars Partially great   September 11, 2008

This book was recommended to me by a counselor, and I found much of it very very useful. It was great for providing simple rules for maintaining control, not only of your child but also of your own self when dealing with children. The only issue I have with the book is the portions dealing with the "uh oh" response. Creating and then triggering a fear response in your child when the parent says "uh oh, this is draining my energy", struck me as borderline abusive. It actually triggered a response in me when I read it, and there is just no way I'll subject my child to that. Of course, that's a very personal view, and in general I found the book helpful.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic!   February 7, 2007
Any parent (or teacher) will appreciate the responses Jim gives. Everything Love and Logic puts out is excellent, but this is something you can pick up in an emergency and find specific answers right away. An important resource for anyone who deals with modern-day kids. I loved it.

It is so nice to have concrete things to say when your kids come up with something you never thought of (which they invariably do). I love this whole series!
