5 out of 5 stars Great practical book!   February 2, 2010

This is a great book for any parent who is looking for some ideas of how to set limits and how to discipline a toddler/ preschooler without hitting/spanking. It is packed with simple ideas and lots of examples of how to use them. It is about "making the punishment fit the crime" and setting limits now so they can grow up to be responsible and make decisions for themselves. I use these ideas with my 20 month old and they are working great! I can discipline him without getting frustrated, yelling or spanking!

5 out of 5 stars Practical Parenting   December 29, 2009

This book was for our daughter. She finished the book and found it an exceptional resource. A lot of very good ideas about parenting that make a lot of sense. We will be reading the book next. I would recommend it to anyone with young children.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing parenting advice   December 19, 2009

There is so much I can say about this book, and so many thanks that I can give to the authors, that I don't really know where to start. Since using the REALLY EASY and LOGICAL techniques in this book (which takes about a day or so to read by the way), my daughter has become so much more affectionate with me and her schoolmates. She was already a very bright and sweet girl, but using these methods, she has really blossomed into a very lovable child. I have read quite a few parenting books and this one is really the first to give practical advice for everyday situations that you can actually follow through with. I guarantee this book will make your life easier through the so-called "terrible twos", and turn them into the best years of your life. I just finished reading this today and I am now buying the whole set of love and logic books! To the authors, you are amazing!
