Product Description
The average pregnancy lasts 280 days and the suspense can be excruciating! piThe Pregnancy Countdown Book/i starts on Day 280 and counts down the biggest milestones every step of the way with one page of helpful information for each day of your pregnancy. Here are tips from doctors and midwives, amusing anecdotes and quotes, and occasional gory-but-necessary details (if you can define the word "lochia," you know what we're talking about). pEvery page offers an interesting revelation. On Day 231, your baby will be the size of a blueberry but by Day 168, he'll be the size of a large avocado. By Day 124, you'll need to stop sleeping on your back; by Day 90, air travel becomes a dicey proposition. And if you haven't planned the nursery by Day 45, you're playing with fire. pA perfect gift for expecting moms of all ages, iThe Pregnancy Countdown Book/i is a delightfully irreverent look at the craziest nine months of your life.

5 out of 5 stars Love It   December 1, 2008
This is a great little book. I love how it has a ton a great info from both Dr's and mom's with experience. The real down to earth info. I would really recommend this book!!! A must have...expecially for first timers!! My only wish...there was more than 7 pages of info for the week....just because it is so good!

5 out of 5 stars Very helpful!   November 24, 2008
I bought this book along with What to Expect When You're Expecting. I like this book the best out of the two I bought. I like the baby descriptions each week, along with the info of new things happening to your body each week and each trimester. It is a nice overview. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend in a heartbeat. It's a great reference and an easy and funny read. I'm excited to read each week what is happening in that belly of mine!

4 out of 5 stars The Pregnancy Countdown Book: Nine Months of Practical Tips, Useful Advice, and Uncensored Truths   November 13, 2008

this has been a nice book that gives you general descriptions at the the beginning of each week, then nice quotes from real moms each day. not a strictly medical based book, but a light book to help guide you through your pregnacny day by day.

2 out of 5 stars Disappointed after such good reviews   November 13, 2008

I was disappointed by this book after reading such good reviews. It is full of opinions and personal advice but no real factual information.

3 out of 5 stars somewhat informative   November 2, 2008
A good go to reference when wanting to understand a particular nuance of pregnancy catches you by surprise.
