Product Description
The Vaccine Guide takes readers through the background and philosophy of vaccination and discusses common misconceptions. It covers each disease and its vaccine, providing difficult-to-obtain facts about vaccine reactions. Also discussed are vaccine effectiveness, toxicity and adverse effects, legal requirements, alternatives, and the latest information on the threat of bioterrorism. New to this edition are topics of particular concern to adults, including smallpox and anthrax vaccines, flu shots, and new conditions linked to vaccine reactions.

5 out of 5 stars Well Done book, Although a little rough on the edges   December 25, 2008
Overall this is an excellent book for parents who want reassurance on their smart choice to NOT VACCINATE their children. I didn't like that some of the writing was mushy and it didn't seem like we where going anywhere. Neustaedter is clearly opposed to vaccination, but then seems to have some fascination in the states power to try to enforce vaccines. He flip flops on many different points, and includes some inaccurate statements like Tetanus vaccine works (please, it doesn't work).br /br /Despite it's shortcoming's there are key sections on why vaccines don't work, the dangerous aluminum, and mercury additives, information on how studies regarding vaccines not working are hidden away, and information on legal consent for your state. Overall, it's a well done book. Vaccines are deadly poisons, and kill hundreds of children every year, as well as debilitate thousands more. They also just plain don't work, and this book will reaffirm your choice to avoid the deadly plague of vaccines.br /br /Review is by Ramiel Nagel author of Healing Our Children: Because Your New Baby Matters! Sacred Wisdom for Preconception, Pregnancy, Birth and Parenting (ages 0-6) Cure Tooth Decay: Heal and Prevent Cavities with Nutrition (First Edition).

I cannot recommend this book enough. Very well researched and written. Dr. Neustaedter is a true advocate for children.

5 out of 5 stars Get this book!   November 28, 2007
I found it to be really informative. Neustaedter doesn't pull any punches, that's for sure! I guess this book would be characterized as "anti-vax," but it backs everything up with common sense and scientific studies. It's basically just a smart book, and helped me decide about vaccines for my baby. I really liked the way it was written. I'm not very familiar as of yet with homeopathy, and the author gives many homeopathic remedies/healthcare options.

This book is enough to make you want to move to a desert island! It is not for anyone with a weak stomach, but it is very thorough and enlightening. If you are looking for an alternate view from the standard medical position this book is for you. Choosing to vaccinate yourself and your children can be a difficult, frightening decision. The best option is to know what you are risking and what is being injected into the body. Vaccinations are issued on a "one size fits all" basis, but people have varying sensitivities to foreign substances in their systems. Consult your physician from an informed perspective and do not be afraid to at least delay your vaccinations for a few years if you have any hesitations about their effects, or insight about possible allergic reactions. You have many legal options that are covered in the book and remember that you will not be protected or compensated if you or your child has an adverse reaction to a vaccination.

I thought this book was very thorough and very balanced. It give you information but leaves room for each person(s) to decide what is best for them, their children, their family.
