Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
DIV"Sometimes I feel like when I make decisions that are remotely biblical, people who call themselves Christians are the first to criticize and say I'm crazy, that I'm taking the Bible too literally, or that I'm not thinking about my family's well-being. . . When people gladly sacrifice their time or comfort or home, it is obvious that they trust in the promises of God. Why is it that the story of someone who has actually done what Jesus commands resonates deeply with us, but we then assume we could never do anything so radical or intense? Or why do we call it radical when, to Jesus, it is simply the way it is? The way it should be?"/DIV

5 out of 5 stars Crazy Love... Life altering concepts!   December 2, 2008
Crazy Love has been an inspirational book that truly touches the soul. It delves into the thought that God is unfathomable and yet craves to have a love relationship with us. Wow. There really aren't words to describe that kind of love. We, as humans, are so unworthy yet he stills offers this relationship to us. Chan does a great job of explaining this and the multiple was we can carry this relationship out in our everyday lives.

5 out of 5 stars Incredible   November 30, 2008
This book opened me up to so much. Francis Chan wishes to re-envision Christianity, admitting many of the mistakes inherent in today's church, but he does so with scriptural basis and without becoming a tiring cynic. He provides verses to back up all his assertions, and each of them seems to be perfectly in context. He expresses the love of God in a way that we all have heard, yet that seems so new. It's books like these that change lives.

5 out of 5 stars excellent!   November 23, 2008
Francis takes an insightful and enlightened approach to looking at the LOVE our Lord has for us and in light of it, the devotion and life we should lead for HIM. This book will jar your lazy American faith, and wake you up to the spoiled reality that we are loved by an AWESOME GOD. Francis is direct and clear and at the same time deep and relevant. I highly recommend this book to anyone searching for more significance in their walk.

5 out of 5 stars Best book I've read in a long time   November 19, 2008

This book is phenomenal. It changed my life and continues to each day. Francis presents the truth of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. He invites us to the challenge and reality that we're called to give everything up if Jesus asks for it. He reminds us that obedience is the key to genuine discipleship.br /br /Lots of Scripture, great illustrations...this book will keep you on your toes and give you a fresh perspective that all of us that call ourselves Christians need. He invites us to a life that is radically different to the average American, but the question still stands...how will you respond?

5 out of 5 stars Read this Book!!   November 19, 2008
I had the chance to hear Francis Chan speak at NOC08 and received this book and it changed my life. This book helped me focus on the majesty of God and put me back in my place.
