Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Perfect   October 26, 2008
Its absolutely amazing what a teacher with resolve can accomplish if she has the right motivation. This book entails the trails of the life of teens in the "hood" and how they overcame their troubles, following the guidance of a teacher who actually cared. Not many teachers care enough about their students to help them with their daily problems. This shows how one brand new teacher cared enough to change the hearts and thoughts of a group of miscreants and show them that 6 ft under is not the only road their given in life. My name is Robert Booska and I'm 18 years old. I definitely recommend this book not only to the casual read but to the classrooms as well.br /Robert Booska
