4 out of 5 stars A helpful book but not a cure all   October 6, 2008
This book was amazingly insightful. It let me know that I am not the only parent who has a handful...of love. I have always know that my son was different, in a good way, but was concerned with his level of energy and it's effects in school. I am learning that a large amount of information is available and I encourage you to look into the foods your child consumes, talk with teachers, doctors and friends. I found there could be allergies or it could be ADHD (an exhausted brain from over functioning)that may keep your child from learning in a traditional school setting.

5 out of 5 stars A must read for those with "Spirited" Children   July 21, 2008

This is a great workbook that goes along with the book "Raising Your Spirited Child". A must for those with "Spirited" Children. Many thought our child was ADD or ADHD, but it turns out she is not! Thank goodness she's not stuck with a label like some many other kids. IT turns out she is just normal like many other kids, but has lots of energy. This workbook gives you suggestions and ideas to help those children channel their energy.

The first time I read the book, was without the workbook. I bought the book and workbook once I returned the borrowed one to it's owner. Great investment! Helps put everything into practice.
