Correct poor posture! The Posture Control Brace gently pulls the shoulders back and holds them in the proper position for correct alignment of the spine. It limits the forward and downward movement of the shoulders to prevent slouching. Elastic side panels give cool compression and stabilization to the abdominal and lumbar regions and overlap to contour the body for an adjustable, customized fit. Also features two flexible plastic stays, adjustable elastic shoulder straps, and soft materials. May be worn beneath clothing, while sitting, or during activity to correct and control poor positioning or posture. Latex free. Complete wear and care instructions are included. Color: Beige. For proper sizing measure around the fullest part of the abdomen. Small fits 26 - 32". Medium fits 30 - 36". Large fits 34 - 40". For health and hygeine reasons this product is not returnable once worn.

Don't order this item from any Florida companies. State law won't allow a return for a different size or even if the packaging is not opened.
Amazon and the Florida companies should post that this is non-returnable WITH the sales pitch. It is misleading. Instead the the return details are buried deep within Amazon's site.
Quality on this brace is suspect. The upper straps don't hold their adjustment and dig into the skin.

Looks a bit odd, feels uncomfortable February 2, 2009

I have shoulder and back pain and had hoped this would help. I ordered a medium, and it fits fine around my stomach. However, it does dig quite uncomfortably into my armpits.

I wore it for about 4 hours today but had to take it off due to chafing.

I'll wear it over a light t-shirt tomorrow and see if that is any better.

Don't waste your money January 9, 2009

Learn from my lesson: save your money and don't buy this product. First of all, it offers absolutely no back or shoulder support. For the most part, all it does is squeeze your stomach. There are two flimsy, vertical strips that don't do anything. And the pieces that go over the shoulder are so flexible that they don't offer support, either. I'm going to look for a real back brace ... yes, it'll cost more, but at least it'll do the job. Don't say that I didn't warn you.

I definitey would recommend this product for anyone who is on their feet all day and has problems related to scolioses. I very happy with it! It relieves the strain on my back

I have encountered some problems with this back brace. (1) it keeps 'riding up'; it does not stay put below the waist (I have a waist!), (2) one loses the shoulder tightening straps, and they are hard to get back to where they belong (3) It 'pilled' within a week. It is really not worth what I paid for it.
