Ameda Custom Breast Flanges with Inserts Research has shown one-third or more new mothers pump more comfortably and effectively with a larger flange! When do you need a larger flange size? If you feel discomfort when pumping, even on low suction, or pump less milk than you believe you should. This product provides mothers with a larger flange size and special reducing inserts to create an "in-between" size. Provides added comfort and effectiveness for women who need a larger flange for pumping. Includes 2 flanges and 2 inserts per box. The standard flanges that come with the pump measure 25.0 mm. This kit with inserts allows flanges to increase from 28.5mm to 30.5mm. (this measurement is the nipple tunnel diameter)
