This product may be what I need but there is insufficient information to make a buying decision. There is no mention of size. How do you determine size? Waist or hips? What material is it made of? Is it adjustable? If so, how? Is it washable? What type(s) of hernias is it appropriate for? I don't imagine this is a returnable item so the answers to all of these questions need to be in the product description.

after 3 hernia surgeries, the doctor advised my husband to wear a hernia belt permanently. Upon his visit for a check-up, the doctor was quite impressed with the one we had ordered and for such a great price.
