Sprained my ankle a few years ago and by far the worst part was the pain from the crutches. In preparation for knee surgery, I bought Crutch Mate Gel arm pads and hand pads.br /br /I can't believe the difference! NO pain on my sides or hands. These items are absolute must-haves if you are going to be on crutches for any length of time.
