4 out of 5 stars Met Expectations for a great price!   October 12, 2009
K. Scholz (Springville, UT USA)
I thought this worked out well, considering I wasn't willing to pay sixty dollars for one, or more. It's made of a strong but stretchy material, which I liked. I read a review that said to order down, and I completely agree with that, would reccomend that. I was thinking about a medium, but got a small and it was perfect (I'm about 5'6", 125 lbs, a B-cup, about 32-34 inches around, if that helps with sizing for you women out there).

Some things I'd like to mention:
Obviously these things don't MAKE you completely stand up straight, like a rigid board down your back. They make it so your shoulder blades are flat, and your shoulders straight, instead of hunched. It doesn't correct your lower back or hips, if you have a problem with that. It serves as a reminder, and is comfortable while not being too intrusive. If you want something that demands that you stand up straight, I'd reccomend paying the sixty dollars.
The other thing I'd like to mention is that you DEFINITELY want to wear a shirt under this--the part against your back feels great, but the elastic/adjustable velcro area, and the edges can rub you the wrong way on occasion.
Other than that, it's great, for a great price!

3 out of 5 stars It works!   May 14, 2009
M. Devet (Portland, OR United States)
My physical therapist suggested this product. It is adjustable for a perfect fit. I found that if I wear it for long periods of time, I need to wear an undershirt because it rubs my underarms after a while. It is soft and comfortable and provides the necessary pressure to remind you to correct your posture.

4 out of 5 stars What I've always wanted.   February 9, 2009

I never knew posture correctors existed. This is the first one I've tried and it works great. It does hurt under the armpit but it's worth it. I sit at a computer all day and this is a great way to remind myself to sit up striaght and put my shoulders back. On the weekends when I'm not wearing it I remeber to put my shoulders back now. This was the cheapest one I found on amazon that had the front strap. If you are thinking about trying it, I recomend it.

2 out of 5 stars way too big   October 23, 2008

I always slouch over, to the point that any adult will scold me to sit up straight. Bought this in hopes that it will sort of "remind" me to keep a straight posture. I think it will work for people who aren't extra small or small. I bought the small, and it was too big, to the point it just hung loose over my body. You can probably tailor it to fit, but I returned mine.

If you fit mediums, get the small. If you're a small, this product won't do anything for you.

If this fits you, it should help you maintain your posture, but just know that it won't do it for you.

1 out of 5 stars No effect for size 6 women   July 22, 2008

I had to return this item. It had no effect for me. It says one size fits-all (upon receiving it the fine print at the asterik says 'one size fits most') but at its tightest adjustment possible it had no effect for me except a some irritation of the edges of the elastic. The straps need to be made of some thing non-elastic or less elastic and the adjustments need to accommodate more range of sizes.
