5 out of 5 stars What a surprise!   November 4, 2009
Mare Hilchey (Olympia, Wa.)
I have always used 2 down pillows and often would wake up with a stiff, sore neck. I would also spend a lot of time punching and adjusting my pillows. When this one arrived, I had just returned from a VERY long travel day consisting of 3 flights over 32 hours. I was exhausted, and fell into bed to try the new pillow out. I didn't move all night and slept like a rock. I wasn't sure, though, if it was just because I was so tired. So the next several nights, I kept sleeping really well, and found that I was hardly moving around at all. I was sold on this pillow at that point, and now plan to have one sent to my parents house so that I will have one there when I visit them. I have no interest in sleeping without it!! The only problem with it is that it's not good for propping up to watch a movie or reading~ so I keep my old ones around for those times.
I was surprised how firm the pillow is, but it's so supportive, it really is wonderful.

5 out of 5 stars My neck is so much better   October 1, 2009
M. Ross (Murrieta, CA USA)
I have had neck surgery in the past and I need a pillow with neck support. My neck has been doing so much better since I purchased this pillow. Just having the support at night helps it feel better during the day.

4 out of 5 stars Great pillow   July 15, 2009
chitownegrl (los angeles ca)
The first night I used this pillow, there was a HUGE difference. Not sure what is up with my neck but with regular pillows I always, always every morning wake up with a tremendous headache, my neck just kills and it is miserable. But this pillow has helped considerably. Highly recommend. One side is low enough, the other is way too high- that's the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars. Also it does get flat rather quickly, I am actually due for a new one now.

1 out of 5 stars Too wide neck support for petite woman   May 11, 2009

This pillow would have worked great if I wasn't a petite size (5 ft. 2). I guess my neck just isn't as long for the firm neck support to fit comfortably as it not only fits under my neck, but also part of the base of my head, which defeats the purpose of having the neck support and your head being able to lay down into the cradle part.

I'm sure it'll work fantastic for someone with a longer neck... instead, my head was propped up too much, causing my chin to tuck down to my chest so I wasn't properly aligned like it's meant to be. I ended up waking up to a terrible headache turn migraine that lasted for 5 days straight :-/ Which is the whole reason I purchased this pillow in the first place, to help with my headaches by giving me more proper support at night. I had to go back to just sleeping with a neck roll under my neck and no pillow at all.

2 out of 5 stars Miss understanding   February 28, 2009

After reading all the reviews about several pillows offered I choose the Mid Core Pillow because several of the reviews were postive and one stated that if I didn't unwrap or take the plastic off the pillow I could send it back if I didn't like it. It was too hard for me. But I found out that pillows are not returnable. Now I'm stuck with it.
