5 out of 5 stars Instant Relief!!!   August 13, 2009
J. Wickers (PA)
I researched and asked around for the last few days about good support belts. I'm currently 27 weeks and for the last 2 weeks or so have been suffering from both back pain and low abdominal pressure. I decided to go to a store to try some on and see what worked for me. I wasn't thinking I would like this because it looks too bulky and as though it would irritate me but the second I put it on it felt great! I bought it from Motherhood Maternity for $38. So far it's completely taken away the back pain and almost all of the abdominal pressure. I also don't use the top strap, not sure that's necessary.

It is annoying to take it off to go to the bathroom, but I imagine I would have to do that with any other band. Seems like it could get itchy or scratchy if worn directly on the skin but I just wear it over my secret fit belly from my maternity pants and that works out great. Plus you can't notice it being worn under your clothes.

5 out of 5 stars Wish I'd ordered it earlier!   March 29, 2009

I definitely recommend the Loving Comfort band. It has completely eliminated my hip pain and almost completely eliminated my back pain. It somewhat alleviates the extreme pelvic/pubic pressure I feel, though not nearly as much as I would have liked. Overall, however, I've been much more comfortable, and I wish I hadn't waited before deciding to try it! I find it perfectly comfortable: no scratchiness and I wear it against my bare skin. It's just a matter of lining up the velcro appropriately. It fits without showing underneath the majority of my clothing (winter/spring). The only thing that doesn't work is underneath lower waisted pants--I'm constantly pulling the pants up, and so the band comes up with them. I don't use the top piece at all: not really sure what it's for; I noticed no difference with or without.

5 out of 5 stars 17 weeks and loving no more back pain!   November 7, 2007

I got this support about a month ago. I'm only 17 weeks pregnant but have been having REALLY bad lower back pain/hip pain. This support is AWESOME! It lifts my tummy without being uncomfortable (doesn't make me nauseous when most things on my tummy do) and supports well so I can walk across the college campus, go bowling, etc. Hoping it continues to work well throughout my pregnancy but I can already tell there is plenty of room for expansion.

5 out of 5 stars wouldn't be pregnant again without it!   August 22, 2007

i love this! okay, so maybe it does get a little warm in the summer, and maybe it's not so pretty. Who cares about that stuff when your pregnant and in pain?! I could barely walk and my hips hurt so bad when i didn't wear this. i wore it every day from 5 months on, wouldn't leave the house without it

4 out of 5 stars Helpful Device   August 12, 2007

This maternity support garment, though quite ugly, is helpful. I'm fairly large, and it immediately relieved strain on my lower back and eased discomfort in my hip bones. I find it more comfortable without the over-belly strap thing. It helps me to feel more stable when rising from a sitting position and walking long distances.
