Features:
  • Relives back pain -- Mother To Be relieves strain on muscles and ligaments by transferring the weight of the abdomen to the spine where it can be carried naturally. Relief is immediate.
  • Relieves abdominal muscle and leg pain -- Mother to be lifts and supports the abdomen, reducing pressure at the pelvis and improving circulation in the legs. Pressure on the sciatic nerve, if it occurs is relieved and sciatica is reduced within minutes.
  • Stabilizes the Pelvic Ring -- The normal softening of ligament during pregnancy can cause discomfort, often as SI pain. Mother to be gently compresses the pelvic ring, Restoring its integrity and reducing pain.
  • The Abdominal Lift Pad -- The large, cushioned Velcro pad is contoured to provide lift with no undesirable abdominal compression. Once the two ends of the support are attached, the weight of the enlarging abdomen is transferred back to the spine.

4 out of 5 stars Maternity Belt   November 1, 2009
Jessica Goulet (NH USA)
This belt is made well and really helped me out. I was having pain from my round ligament and this helped to keep that pain from coming as long as i was wearing it. It's kind of bulky and not very comfortable, but well worth it.

5 out of 5 stars Great Support!!   October 15, 2009
Sherin (Savannah, GA, USA)
This item was a great support for my huge belly as I was pregnant with twins. Before I got it, just standing up for a few minutes to do some dishes was becoming a very painful thing, with all the extra weight of the twins, I had terrible back pain in addition to my legs, hips, and knees which were getting very weak. This maternity belt really made a difference, I wore it whenever I needed to stand and do some house work and whenever I was going out. It really helped me tolerate things that were too difficult and painful before I got it, such as grocery and baby shopping. I got the medium size even though my prepregnancy size was small just because my belly was much bigger than someone who was pregnant with one baby, it fit me very well. I would recommend this product to anyone, specially if they are carrying more than one baby. And even though I only got to wear it for a couple of months before I unexpectedly delivered too early, I believe the relief I got from it for my aches was worth every penny.

5 out of 5 stars It's a big help!!   September 2, 2009
Busy Mom to be on her feet all day (Iowa)
I purchased this belt based on other peoples reviews. Now that I have worn it a few times, I'm putting my 2 cents worth in.
This belt has been a big help for me! I work at a hospital and am on my feet for most of the day. This has taken away most, if not all, of the lower back and hip pain that I began to feel come about 30 weeks. I am currently 33 weeks along, and have worn it for the last 3 days. There was a noticeable difference in my pain after the first day and it has remained that way. I wear scrubs at work and usually wear a shirt underneath the top for comfort, so I have not experienced any itchiness from the material that other people have commented on. I find it easy to adjust as I need throughout the day as well, when sitting and eating.
It has its cons: 1-having to take it off for the bathroom and the extra pressure on my bladder, 2-The baby seems more active/squirmy when I wear it, only because I assume it is snugger in place, therefore it doesn't get rocked to sleep by my motions. But I feel the support that it provides out weighs the cons I have come across.
So, if you are active and needing a bit of extra support, I would recommend this belt!

I am not big enough to use the belt yet, but I am hoping it will help with my back pain.
