Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Fun and Beautiful Classic Folk   January 7, 2005

Never Grow Up is a collection of old-time folk tunes geared towards kids and the kid at heart. In particular, I LOVED the song: "The Dummy Line" and "Master of the Sheepfold." Both were fun, poignant and kept my feet tapping. As usual, Anne Hills voice is beautiful, and the harmony of her and the other lead singer (Cindy Mangsen) was tear-provoking. WONDERFUL. A suitable addition to any collection.

5 out of 5 stars A Hidden Gem for Parents   July 4, 2000
I picked this CD up about 9 months ago in a used record store (sorry Amazon -- but its cheap for the price here folks!). Since then, this has emerged as my kids' (4 years and 21 months respectively) favorite disc. Lots of real chestnuts here (Where Did You Get That Hat is the front runner now) and the performances are absolutely superb. I would place this at the top of my Desert Island Discs for Kids List -- even above the renowned Peter Paul and Mommy.
