5 out of 5 stars You Light up My Kindle   November 19, 2009
Arthur the Retired Educator (Boynton Beach, FL)
Just as advertised, a powerful light in a small package. The only complaint is the on-off switch tends to turn the light on at the wrong times. It often lights up my messeenger bag when I slip something in and accidently hit the switch.

2 out of 5 stars This is for a Kindle 2?   November 19, 2009
Dylan C. Douglas
This light is in no way made for a Kindle 2. The clip opens up more 2 times the height of the top of the Kindle. That means, if you slide it onto the Kindle so that it sits securely, the clip is actually sitting on the screen! If you move it further off the Kindle so that it isn't on the screen, the clip isn't strong enough to hold it in place. So, if you move the Kindle around as you read, it will start to tilt over or try to slide down.

You can put it on the top left or top right corners of the Kindle, which seems to be how it was designed, but the the weight of the unit makes Kindle unbalanced. While on the corner, the Kindle's edge is just wide enough for the clip resulting in the battery case sticking out over the edge.

1 out of 5 stars Broke on day one   November 17, 2009
MurftheSurf (WA USA)
I was very excited about this product but it broke on the first day-within hours.
The main problem was the switch. It would not turn on both LED's; then having turned it off, it would come on by itself.
Thanks to Amazon-not a total disaster-shipped me a new one-fingers are crossed-it has worked for 2 weeks.
There were many good reviews on this product- so it was a real disappointment.
The only other comment is that the light has a blue tinge to it and that bothers some-I was just happy to have any light; would
have preferred a simple on/off switch-never really use just one light.

5 out of 5 stars Great Light!   November 17, 2009
Patricia D. Bacon (Baton Rouge, LA)
I purchased this light with my Kindle and boy am I glad I did. I accidentally ordered 2 of them somehow and my husband quickly let me know it was okay, he'd take the other one, He uses it on his laptop. We already had lights for the laptops but he likes this one better. It's perfect on my Kindle. I just had surgery and had to recuperate at home for 2 weeks. I used it nearly every day. I would recommend this light to anyone, even for your laptop.

1 out of 5 stars Didn't last long   November 16, 2009
C. M. Danley (San Diego, CA)
Mine broke - just stopped working after 1 week of delivery - used it for about 1 hour max. thought the batteries must of run out as it did accidently turn on like other reviewers are saying but new batteries did nothing. I called Gold Crest as packaging stated and no questions asked they are sending me another. Hopefully I have better luck with the second unit. Gold Crest customer service is impressive so the Might Bright might be redemmed after all.
