Product Description
Can you fall in love in thirteen hours? brbrIt's her birthday but lonely workaholic Dana Watts is at the office late, drafting a proposal. The very last interruption she expects comes in the form of the most beautiful breasts she has ever seen. These belong to an incredibly hot woman, who is standing in front of her, stripping to music. brbrLaurel Stanley performs strip-o-grams to pay her way through school. She has never encountered a more ungrateful recipient than Dana. The uptight project manager makes it clear that she is furious to be distracted from her work by the "gift" a colleague sent and equally appalled by Laurel's occupation. brbrAfter Dana is rude and insulting, and insists on escorting Laurel from the building, the two women take an elevator ride that changes everything. Stuck with each other for thirteen long hours after the elevator breaks down, they discover how wrong first impressions can be and how right two strangers can feel together. brbrCan everything change in less than a day? Dana and Laurel set out to discover if their passionate elevator encounter can mean more in this fast-paced, erotic story of lust, loneliness, fantasy, and desire.

5 out of 5 stars Too Hot to Touch   December 2, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

Take a student who is working her way through school as a stripper, bring in a conservative, closeted professional, and you have great chemistry. Add a broken-down elevator and lots of free time and you have a fantastic premise.br /br /This is the most intense book I've read in a long time. It is rightfully categorized as an erotic romance and I don't expect any less from this talented author. Don't get me wrong - the story is great all by itself, but the way O'Brien writes physical scenes is unsurpassed by any of her peers. The scenes are relevant, believable, masterfully written, and interjected into just the right places throughout the story. br /br /Always a fan of O'Brien, I anxiously awaited this book and was not disappointed. The characters of Laurel and Dana are well developed likable. Their personal growth and further development is an unexpected bonus for the reader.br /br /Bottom Line - One of O'Brien's best books, I thoroughly enjoyed `Thirteen Hours' and almost wish I could get trapped in an elevator with a beautiful stranger.br /

4 out of 5 stars I got what I paid for!   September 5, 2008
This book is very sexually explicit.br /If that bothers you than steer clear of buying it.br /br /I loved it! It was great to read a 'no holds barred'..raunchy and very sexy honest book.br /I thought the author created 2 real characters with great dialogue and storyline.br /There is no excuse or reason given here for the amazing sex these two women delve into - there shouldn't be.br /I'm so glad Bold stroke published this one and didn't hide her in one of their collection books.br /Way to go Meghan! Can't wait for your next one.br /

1 out of 5 stars awful   September 3, 2008

This book is great if you don't mind books without character development or plots. I was very disappointed.

I read this book in one morning. It is very well written and very steamy. You will not want to put this book down. I have recomended this book to all my friends. I will not let anyone borrow it or sell it because it is definately a book I plan on reading over and over.

4 out of 5 stars Hot and dynamic   June 23, 2008

There are already many reviews which list the virtues of the book in terms of hot, hotter, and hottest. And they are all true! Hot it is!br /br /I'd just like to add that it's a dynamic, entertaining read, and the one reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is because it's a bit two-dimensional for my tastes. Personally, I don't think the characters are so very well developed per se, what's fantastically well developed is their sexual persona, which happens practically within a bubble (and I'm not talking about the elevator!), there are no friends to contextualize the relationship, their "work" world is referred to but never brought to the forefront, the family angle is barely touched upon but not really explored...br /br /I did have a LOT of fun with it, and I really do recommend this book for hot, fast-paced enjoyment, but in my humble opinion 5 starring a book requires a bit of extra work in terms of "rounding up" the story.
