5 out of 5 stars Buy this too if you're buying Improving Adolescent Literacy: Strategies at Work   June 1, 2007

I think this book is a great additional to a content area teacher's library, but is probably the second Doug Fisher book to read. After reading Improving Adolescent Literacy: Strategies at Work I understand better where and when to use the easily described/pictured strategies and am confident that I can sell the importance of those activities to my middle schoolers.br /Strategies are 1-2 pages, some have text only description, but many have diagrams. All strategies are broken down in to before/after/during activiies. I can't wait to incorporate theseinto my classroom!
