2 out of 5 stars Don't Agree With Wording of Affirmation in Back of Book   January 8, 2009

The affirmations at the back of this book are not always of a "positive" nature. Personally, I believe if you're going to repeat affirmations, you should focus on what you WANT, not what you DON'T want. If you're ill you should say something more like, "I am becoming more and more healthy", and NOT, "I am not sick". Focus on what you WANT.

2 out of 5 stars Used book   February 17, 2007

I ordered a new book. The book I recieved had underlining in it and some of the lessons had been filled in. It is hard to do the lessons when you are looking at someone else's answers.

5 out of 5 stars This book opened my eyes   December 11, 2004

I was at a point where it was like I was swiming upstream at work. Too many things were just so much more difficult than they needed to be. br /br /I picked this book up because the title jumped out at me. This is the best work environment self-assessment book I have ever seen. It's the only one I've found that helps to identify why some jobs, or work environments are just not a good fit and never will be a good fit. The job or the environment just doesn't fit your strengths and your personality. br /br /I've had my copy for over 15 years. And today, I'm on this site because I will be recommending this book to my adult nephew, who is recovering from losing a job that was a complete mismatch to his strengths and personality. br /br /If your work life is just plain hard and you can't figure out why, this book may just be your lifesaver.
