Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
DIVP style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"This compilation of important distributist authors delivers valuable insight into the manifest problems of society. Although most of the contributions were written more than 50 years ago, the questions raised by the writers have remained largely unanswered, and essays regarding topics like education, work, and freedom have lost little relevance in the ensuing decades. Featured authors include Eric Gill, Harold J. Massingham, and Dorothy Sayers./P/DIV

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful; Terribly Important!   November 29, 2008
This excellent book stands a sequel to the excellent Distributist Perspectives: Volume One from the same publisher. And, if anything, the sequel is even better than the first book.br /br /In our current economic environment, where both capitalism and socialism, those insidious blood brothers, are obviously failing, we desparately need the important teachings of Distributivsm, the Economics of Justice and Charity. And this excellent work, together with Belloc's "Servile State" and Chesterton's "Outline of Sanity" will provide any interested reader with sound foundation in this very important theory of economics.br /br /The great Scholastic philsophers taught us that politics was a discipline within ethics. Following this, economics, also known by the Schoolmen as political economy, is also ultimately derived from ethics. And this is the essential teaching of the Distributist School.br /br /In this collection of essays, that by S. Sagar on the general topic of Distributivsm is perhaps the best. But they are all really excellent. We strongly recommend this excellent book, and look forward also to its sequel. God bless.
