APA Best purchase September 18, 2008
This by far is the best book available to help students understand APA format it is in CLEAR ENGLISH with examples (thank you). Although the other APA manual is very detailed, APA the Easy Way cuts right to the point. I use many different sources for references and this book answers the how to cite this or that questions quickly.

I showed my professor this book and she was so impressed she said she was going to have to buy this book herself. A few of my class mates bought the other book and are so lost they don't know how to make heads or tails of the manual. This book is the best choice for the price and has easily understandable content.

Oh if you open the view (look inside this book) on Amazon for APA the Easy Way you get the actual setup for Microsoft Word prior to 2003 for all sides of the paper. This really helped me when I could not afford the book, at first.

Don't forget you can get all information on format and citations on the internet for free if you search, I know I did. I have this book and my internet notes from goggling the order of pages.( you will see APA Style Essentials.) Happy writing!!!!

Having used MLA for all of my past academic work, I was completely baffled by APA's rules and intricacies. This concise reference helped me overcome my anxiety in one evening. My scores on APA style have been perfect since buying this book. Highly recommended.

Great overview! August 22, 2008
Easy to use, and helped me get to know the APA writing style. Very readable, short and sweet. Kind of a quick fix, and an excellent addition to the "big" books on official APA format. It helped me immensely with my University of Phoenix classes, especially when some of the professors refused to help students find things they couldn't locate in the big books. This one helps you at least get an idea of what things are called and where you need to go! Like I said, EXCELLENT RESOURCE & SUPPLEMENT!

Easy to follow- very helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!I return back to college to do my masters in nursing after a 10 plus absence, I had a lot of difficulty following the APA style but this book kept it simple and gave clear examples.I did recommend it to classmates who were experiencing the same difficulties and the reaction was positive. Thank you
