Product Description
p align="center"Ibig"I've been a questioner all my life..."/big/iPSo begins bestselling author and award-winning actress Shirley MacLaine, as she invites readers to join her on the most powerful, provocative journey of her life. Over the years, Shirley has firmly established herself as a fearless, iconoclastic thinker and seeker of truth. Now, as she confronts the realities and rewards of growing older, she reflects on the greater understanding of her own place in the universe that her experiences have brought to her. PSparked by the experience of moving into a new house, she is inspired to look back across the remarkable professional and personal milestones she has experienced so far. Surrounded by books, pictures, and the artifacts of a life well lived, Shirley is able to recognize the profound power of synchronicity at work around her, discovering the invisible threads that stitch together the seemingly random events of her days, adding meaning even to the mundane. PHaving grown older, she is increasingly concerned with the potential pitfalls of modern medicine. She shares personal insights into nutrition, acupuncture, homeopathy, and alternative medicine. Practical and bracing, here is advice for anyone looking to expand his or her understanding of health and well-being. PMoving beyond the physical, Shirley explores what has always interested her most -- those things that are unseen. What is consciousness? What is the purpose of our lives? Are we alone in the universe? And perhaps the greatest mystery of all, what happens to us after death?PFilled with her trademark wit and candor, this is a fascinating, inspiring book that will delight and captivate Shirley's legions of fans and fellow travelers everywhere.

5 out of 5 stars a very good read   December 7, 2008
I love her books, they are introspective full of anecdotes and touch upon themes I am interested in and this one takes on an even broader range of subject matter. The book arrived in record time too.

5 out of 5 stars Sage-ing While age-ing   December 3, 2008
Well my Dear Friend (Shirley) You did it again !! Well done. I thinks it's time to hit the road again and speak as you so well do, the "Light Beings" people need to hear it from the horse mouth, I'll even go on the road with you and Terry, I'm always here.....br /Great lovebr /Cameron Ponce de Leon

4 out of 5 stars Lot's of Research   November 17, 2008
In many ways this re-visits topics that Shirley MacLaine has shared before with readers.br /I am a fan of her style, her enthusiasm, and her pursuit of knowledge. And she shares it willingly in this latest book in her summary of the latest on her favorite topics.br /However, our Presidents' awareness of ET presence was not something I had known before.br /The contents gives one much to ponder and pursue if so inclined.

5 out of 5 stars Delightful   November 15, 2008
She brings a delicate truth within an enlightened question.br /What a joy reading this book!br /She has been questioning the hidden and the inevitable and she succeeded in opening our eyes on a greater truth.br /A book of wisdom, intelligence and warmth.br /Don't miss it.br /

5 out of 5 stars Shirley's Best Yet   September 16, 2008
As usual Shirley involves her efforts into the mysterious universe and its exciting ramifications, whether in the body or the heavens. She has done an exhausting and in depth job of researching matters that concern all of us as to outer space alien co-existence. The first part of the book explores the universe of the body and its needs. The second part of the book explores the possibility of the presence of beings from other solar systems that have been visiting us for many years or maybe milleniums. Her research into government cover ups on this issue makes for fascinating reading.
