Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Take two-they're small. And they perform miracles. Suffering a career-ending, potentially crippling injury to her back and right leg, a young dancer named Elaine Petrone tried everyone from orthopedists to yogis to turn her pain and prognosis around. Nothing worked-until she healed herself through a unique program of therapy and exercise based around the use of two small, squishy balls. From there she turned her passion into a mission that is helping the thousands of people who visit her classes conquer pain, stress, and injury.brbrNow, for relief for sufferers everywhere, comes iThe Miracle Ball Method/i, a healing kit containing two miracle balls and a fully illustrated book, all packaged together in an attention-getting clear plastic cylinder. The work itself is simple. Take a sore back: By resting your aching back on the grapefruit-sized balls and letting your body sink into them, you're unworking the muscles that hurt. Pain and tension drain out of the body. Petrone shows how proper breathing (which she demonstrates) works in conjunction with a range of unexercises that call for placing the balls under the back, head, knees, hip, elbow-wherever there's pain-and then resting, rolling, or rotating on them. She points out that relief can come in surprising ways: Lower back pain may be helped by placing the ball under your neck, or a bad knee might be helped by hip work. It's arevolutionary program of relief, from head to toe.

5 out of 5 stars Faith Healing   December 31, 2008
Tried these at my sister's insistence. You know those programs where you see someone just lay on hands and heal someone? Just about that fast. five minutes with these things pressing my lower back just above the glutes and I practically sprang to my feet. I have no patience for yoga or stretching, so this instant gratification sold me...well, instantly. Sciatica was gone, flexibility much greater. So simple.

5 out of 5 stars Professional Massage therapist loves these   December 27, 2008
When you are a massage therapist-you don't get to always GET the massages you need--- these balls actually work! Helped my sister. NOW I will get them for myself!

5 out of 5 stars very soothing for your aches!   December 17, 2008
I love relaxing on these balls. It is so simple, and yet quite effective. I wouldn't call it a substitute for chiropractic or physical therapy or yoga or pilates, but it really helps.br /br /Love that the exercises don't require a very big space... it is a life saver for someone living in a small aptmt! Also love that it is light and compact enough to take with me to my travels ; )

5 out of 5 stars Love Them!!   December 17, 2008
I absolutly love these little balls. It's been great for relieving the pain between my shoulder blades and for lower back therapy.

4 out of 5 stars Good for Fibromyalgia pain if modified use.   December 15, 2008

I am not able to get down on the floor but I read all the reviews and thought I'd try using them in a chair or the bed. I don't think I could take the pressure on the floor but on my bed with a 3 inch memory foam topper they work.br /br /I read the little book and the different places to place the balls. I follow that and I can say they give some relief to my back pain. They are not a cure by any means for severe back problems, but any non drug relief I can get I'm thankful for.br /br /The only con I have found is they can somewhat difficult to get in just the right place if you have limited mobility. Also when you first open the box they smell very bad, a chemical odor. I had to let them air out in another room for a day and now they are fine.br /br /If you want relief from muscle tension these will provide that.
