It's stuffy and unclear and a waste of money. About half of my class bought this book and not one person found it helpful. Try the Sum&Substance CDs or ask your prof for a different study aid recommendation. A 1L must have!! October 11, 2009 Nat (MI) This supplement really helped me to grasp damages, a concept I was struggling with during my K course. I highly recommend it to all 1L's. It was actually recommended to the class by the prof, which is a rare thing for law school teachers it seems Approachable & Well Written October 3, 2009 Thomas Oswald (Bristow, VA USA) Contract, Examples & Explanations is an in-depth coverage of Contracts. It's approachable and well written, providing an excellent foundation in Contract law. I read this book in parallel with Contracts in a Nutshell (In a Nutshell (West Publishing)) and found the two books complemented each other quite well in helping me to understand contracts. Lynch (San Francisco) Of all the supplements I have used for all my 1L classes, this one was the best!! A must-have for Contracts. I used it along with Emanuel Contracts, and they both saved my life. This book lays out things in a very easy to understand way, and the examples are incredibly useful. The problems and explanations at the end of each chapter are a great way to practice.
