Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Known for its clear, straightforward writing style, comprehensive coverage, strong and current research-based approach, and excellent visuals and tables, LIFE-SPAN HUMAN DEVELOPMENT offers sections on four life stages: infancy, childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. Each chapter focuses on a domain of development such as physical growth, cognition, or personality, and traces developmental trends and influences in that domain from infancy to old age. This unique, topical organization helps you comprehend the processes of transformation occurring in each key area of human development. The new edition includes a clear focus on the complex interactions of nature and nurture in development, more integrated coverage of culture and diversity, and an exciting new media package for students.

1 out of 5 stars Are you kidding me?!!   September 29, 2008

This book is ridiculous!! It is insanely expensive and yet it is FULL of grammatical and typographical errors. I cannot believe that professionals who write textbooks would allow so many publication errors. It's unbelievable!!

4 out of 5 stars Almost fully satisfied   September 14, 2008
I am happy with my purchase. I was a little surprised that it was an instructors edition, which was not wrote in the item description. I should have ordered it sooner, because it took longer then expected to arrive. Otherwise, I am satisfied with my purchase. I would purchase from this user again.

5 out of 5 stars Great resource for wellness professionals   August 2, 2008
This book was a required text for a graduate counseling class. I recommend it for anyone interested in why we are like we are and how we developed to get that way!!
