Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
For Olivia Harding, the offer of employment at a small private school came as something of a godsend. With no qualifications, she hadn't expected to find a job so easily, let alone one that still brought her into contact with the eminent surgeon Haso van der Eisler. Olivia always looked forward to Haso's visits, though she knew he came mainly to see his goddaughter, Nel. The idea that Haso should marry the child's glamorous mother seemed obvious to all, but Olivia's stubborn heart told her otherwise!

4 out of 5 stars A sweet Christmas story!   June 2, 2009

A cute story about a down-on-her-luck woman who endears herself to a child with a neglectful mother and a handsome/succussful doting uncle. A Christmas Wish has a Sound of Music sort of feel to it. Betty Neals is a new author for me. I needed a few chapters to acclimate myself to her very charming British style of writing. The settings were described in brilliant detail, and the Dutch flavor was very interesting. The characters were all well-drawn and aroused emotion in the reader.

Another heartwarming romance from Betty Neels!

Description from the book back cover:

Mistletoe magic! For Olivia Harding, the offer of employment at an exclusive private girls' school had come as something of a godsend. With so little experience, she hadn't expected to find a job so easily, let alone one that still brought her into contact with her former boss, the eminent Dutch surgeon Haso van der Eisler. Of course, his frequent visits to the school had more to do with his goddaughter, Nel, than her own limited attractions. Nel was a lonely, fatherless girl, and that Haso should marry her glamorous mother seemed obvious to all but Olivia's stubborn heart!
